Is it to ensure safety that the control valve for the clean acidic gas fed into the middle section of the sulfur production furnace does not have a bypass valve?
Typically, imported control valves do not have bypass valves, whereas domestically produced control valves generally come equipped with them.
Generally, for ease of operation, a bypass line should be provided so that adjustments can be made through it in case the control valve gets stuck, clogged, or fails to function properly for other reasons. If not, it might also be a oversight by the design institute.
