On September 3, 2011, on the occasion that Anqing Petrochemical’s gasification unit achieved 150 days of continuous operation over an extended period, Michiel Mak, Global Vice President of Shell’s Gasification and Clean Coal Business, sent a congratulatory message: “This is the best result ever achieved by all of Shell’s gasification technology users worldwide, as well as the finest record attained by any gasification unit globally.” ” It is reported that on November 18, 2006, the gasification unit at Anqing Petrochemical was put into operation ； On August 22, 2011, the gasification unit at Anqing Petrochemical achieved 138 days of continuous operation over a long period, setting a new world record for the longest consecutive operation time of a Shell-type gasification unit of its kind ； On September 3, 2011, the gasification unit at Anqing Petrochemical achieved 150 days of continuous operation over a long period.

I think Shell’s gasifiers certainly cannot operate continuously for such a long time; many of the factory’s managers want to achieve tangible results, and things like consecutive startups are definitely counted as part of the continuous operation period.
