What is the principle behind geothermal heating? What equipment is needed?
Is it radiant floor heating or a geothermal heat pump? Please clarify

Geothermal heating involves installing hot water pipes underground before the ground is paved; hot water is then supplied from the outside and circulated through these pipes (usually at a temperature not exceeding 50 degrees Celsius). Since hot air is less dense, it rises, thereby warming the rooms.
A geothermal heat pump is an efficient and energy-saving air conditioning system that utilizes shallow underground geothermal resources (also known as geothermal energy, including groundwater, soil, or surface water) to provide both heating and cooling. A ground-source heat pump transfers low-grade thermal energy to high-grade thermal energy by inputting a small amount of high-quality energy (such as electricity). Geothermal energy can be used in winter as a heat source for heat pump heating, and in summer as a cold source for air conditioning; that is, in winter, the heat contained in geothermal energy is extracted, increased in temperature, and then supplied to indoor spaces for heating ; In summer, the heat inside the building is removed and released into the geothermal energy. The energy flow in a heat pump unit involves using the energy it consumes (such as electrical energy) to transfer all the heat absorbed (i.e., electrical energy + absorbed heat) to a high-temperature heat source. The energy consumed serves to compress the refrigerant fluorine into a high-temperature, high-pressure state, thereby enabling it to absorb heat from low-temperature heat sources.
