Look for something, find something new! Pneumatic tool for helping operators open large valves

This post was last edited by x*u on 2011-9-8 at 11:11 :handshake Have you guys heard of something like this: a pneumatic tool that helps operators turn large valves (such as those 16 inches or larger). Required features: 1. It should be portable. 2. It must be able to be used with valves of various diameter ranges!
There are some relatively large manual shut-off valves on site; operating them manually would take a lot of time. Moreover, we have few operators, so it’s not cost-effective to spend so much time and effort – including physical strength – on operating these manual shut-off valves. However, installing pneumatic actuators on these valves or replacing them with pneumatic valves is too expensive. That’s why we’re looking for a portable pneumatic F-wrench! I’ve never seen or heard of this thing before; I’m not sure if such advanced tools exist these days with the progress in technology. But if specialized manufacturers were to develop them, it wouldn’t be very difficult!
I am also very interested in this potential product.
Reply to 2# x*u: Even with clever design, the air supply issue may remain unresolved; one would need to carry an air tank or pull along a portable air compressor. It seems that there should be compressed air pipes at least in the vicinity. Electric. They’d rather use an extended F wrench than carry the battery. Only by daring to think can there be innovation; the idea is indeed good.
