Upward-opening discharge valve: When the handwheel is turned clockwise, the valve closes and the valve stem moves upward. Downward-opening discharge valve: When the handwheel is turned clockwise, the valve closes and the valve stem moves downward. Used for slurry discharge, directly connecting to the equipment opening, without a 150mm short pipe. The specific structure can be found by searching for “upward flow valve” on Baidu; any manufacturer’s information will be available.
Simply put, one direction means closed, and the other direction means open; just do a search – there’s plenty of information available.
