Treatment of acid production wastewater from pyrite.

I would like to ask everyone: which wastewater treatment technology is the best for treating wastewater from sulfuric acid production plants using pyrite, given that the water contains arsenic and has a pH level of 1–2.

Reply 1#: The treatment of arsenic-containing waste liquid requires an additional step compared to that of dilute acid waste liquid; that is, after pre-neutralization, the liquid containing arsenic is treated with trivalent iron.
