According to a report from September 9, 2011, Lishi District in Lüliang City, Shanxi Province, plans to develop the Xinyi Modern Industrial Demonstration Park into a modern industrial zone with an output value of 20 billion yuan, tax revenues of 5 billion yuan, and a population of 40,000 people, equipped with all necessary facilities. It is intended to become a coal chemical industry base capable of handling tens of millions of tons of coal, serving directly the development of the Liliu coal field. In terms of industrial park development, this region focuses on two circular industrial chains: coal-coke-chemicals and coal-electricity-heat. With a total investment of 30.2 billion yuan, it plans to implement projects for the clean utilization of high-sulfur coal on a scale of 10 million tons. These projects include one for the co-production of coal-based synthetic energy chemicals in an amount of 2 million tons, a project for the production of 200 million cubic meters of natural gas, and a 250-megawatt clean coal gas power generation project ; 400,000 tons of coal-based ethylene glycol ; The project involving 100,000 tons of 1,4-butanediol, with the co-production of 200,000 tons of formaldehyde, is expected to generate annual sales revenue of 19 billion yuan once fully operational, an annual profit of around 5.1 billion yuan, and annual tax payments of approximately 3 billion yuan.
“When will the 2 million-ton coal-based synthetic energy chemicals co-production project, as well as the project for producing 200 million cubic meters of natural gas, be implemented? Is there any timeline for this? Hehe
