Reflecting on the Mid-Autumn Festival

This year’s Mid-Autumn Festival was a source of confusion for me. I started by considering the fact that I would have to work a long night shift, which was troubling. By the time the festival arrived, the sky was overcast with no trace of moonlight at all. I thought that the moon would be full on the 16th, but it remained cloudy. One can only reminisce about the moons of bygone years. Friends who feel the same, please upvote!
This year’s Mid-Autumn Festival not only saw no moon, but the worst part was that it rained for 2.5 days out of the 3 days I was home!
The thing is, I didn’t even notice whether there was a moon or not; after all, I wasn’t in the mood to pay attention
Reply to 3# zbx: It was a holiday yesterday; I had fried rice with eggs for lunch, and a deluxe version of instant noodles (with eggs and vegetables) for dinner. I opened the window, looked at the moon, and ate an apple. This year’s Mid-Autumn Festival had a special flavor to it. .
