How is the burial depth determined for seamless steel pipe water supply pipes buried underground? If one needs to cross a lane, how is the burial depth determined?
Reply to 1# wayne400: According to GB 50316 8.3.4, for pipes running beneath the road, the distance from the top of the pipe to the road surface should be no less than 0.7 m; whereas clause 8.2 applies to pipes located in ditches
The GB50268 Water Supply Pipeline Code does not provide explicit regulations; therefore, reference can only be made to 50316
In accordance with clause 8.3.8 of GB 50316 -2000 (the pipe burial depth should be below the freezing line; if this is not possible, anti-freezing measures must be implemented), it is correct to pass through the second floor of a building
The burial depth of pipes laid underground should be determined on the principle that the pipes remain undamaged, taking into account factors such as the maximum depth of frozen soil and the groundwater level. The distance from the top of the pipe to the ground should not be less than 0.5 m; in outdoor areas or those with concrete floors indoors, this distance should not be less than 0.3 m. The clearance under the passage for mechanical vehicles should not be less than 0.7 m, or protection via sleeves should be used.
