We have several condensate tanks here, but they are made of different materials. We would appreciate your insights on this. Medium, operating pressure (Mpa.G), operating temperature, material: Condensate – 0.87, 178, 304L; Condensate – 4, 250, 304L+Q345R composite material; Condensate – 1.6, 205, 304L+Q345R composite material; Condensate – 4, 250, 304L+Q345R composite material; Condensate – 9.5, 305, Q345R
What kind of condensate? Are they all the same? This may be related to the manufacturing process. For example: when some condensate needs to be returned to the boiler feedwater, stainless steel is used to reduce the total hardness of the boiler water ； Or for processes such as flashing and heating, stainless steel must be used to meet the requirements of the process. The purpose of using composite panels is to save costs while providing corrosion protection.
