That’s because you didn’t look closely enough. There are models with correction features; they all use M water columns. If the term “water column” isn’t mentioned, it means it’s in liquid mode, and in that case no correction is needed. Hehe, I was troubled by this too before I figured it out in the end
My understanding is that sometimes, when the problem explicitly provides values such as the richness factor or safety margin, there is no need for prior correction.
The net positive suction head does not require correction, as it is generally only related to the pump’s performance; moreover, even if correction is needed, the method for doing so is by no means the one described in the TianDa Fu* tutorial； What generally needs to be adjusted are the allowable installation height and the allowable suction vacuum level.
