What does each of Honeywell’s system databases, EMDB, ERDB, and RTDB, contain? In other words, which system information is stored in which database?
The database for EMDB enterprise model configuration, including permission settings, asset definitions, alarm configurations, and more. ERDB stores the data from the configuration process; it is a static database. An RTDB, or real-time database, stores real-time data such as calculation values within controllers and signal values from the field; it is a dynamic database.
