A friend’s father was working on a construction site when he got injured due to the improper actions of other workers; his scapula was fractured. The doctor recommended foods such as eggs, chicken soup, and bone broth for recovery. Could anyone give some advice on how to combine these foods, what should be added or omitted? Also, are there any affordable supplements that could help with recovery? Thank you! My friend is from the countryside; as for their income level, well... you know what I mean.
It should be to increase calcium absorption.
Drink more fresh milk, as it contains a lot of calcium. Milk is also excellent, as it is easily absorbed by the body. Either tofu and some meats also contain high levels of calcium.
Just follow the doctor’s instructions; for specific details, ask the doctor or search online
Go buy some pig bones to make soup with (the kind with hardly any meat on them, whose marrow can be extracted by breaking them); they’re not very expensive either. Here, pork costs 20 yuan per pound (all lean meat), while pig bones cost 7 yuan per pound.
Cook more bone broth to drink; the longer it’s cooked, the better, and it doesn’t cost much!
I just watched CCTV2 yesterday; it said that fish soup and bone broth are not as effective in providing calcium as fresh milk. Also, if nutrition is adequate, it is possible to take some calcium supplements (ordinary ones will do).
Taking calcium is one aspect; promoting its absorption is equally important. Eat more foods rich in VE. . .
Well, just have some bone broth and rest; there’s no need to take any medicine. I have experience with this. :L
