When the substance to be measured is placed in a beaker along with the measuring solution, everything works fine. What could be the cause? It’s a Yokogawa pH202G probe with a filling fluid. Please help identify the reason; I would be extremely grateful for your advice
The pressure for supplementing potassium chloride at the reference electrode may be too low. Increase the pressure of the instrument air appropriately. It is recommended to use a flow cell for measurements in pressurized pipelines, as this allows the pressure at the measurement electrode to be reduced to a controllable and operable range. For high-purity water analysis, special electrodes designed for high-purity water are required. Thank you, but I would like to mention that the pressure in my pipeline is around 1 kilogram, while the pressure of KCL is around 2 kilograms. I used a beaker to collect water beneath the pipeline for measurement, and the values kept fluctuating. It’s a brackish water treatment process using acid-ion exchange membranes; moreover, the HCl gas remains suspended in the air, causing severe pollution – an environmental issue
