Flushing oil is the sealing oil. The function of the seal oil is to carry away the friction heat from the mechanical seal, cool the seal, and lubricate the friction surfaces of the mechanical seal. The outlet pressure of the seal oil pump needs to be determined based on the pressure required in the sealing chamber, as well as the losses in the pipelines of the seal oil system.
The function of sealing oil is primarily to provide sealing, as well as serving purposes such as lubrication.
