The hydrochloric acid (chlorobenzene) produced by our factory recently is of poor quality, and it causes severe corrosion to the gaskets in the pipelines; we use rubber gaskets. What kind of gaskets are more resistant to chlorobenzene corrosion? # + +
First, in such an environment, imported expanded PTFE gaskets are used; if the pressure is less than 10 kilograms, expanded PTFE tape can be used as a temporary solution.
There are also many types of rubber; I’m not sure which type you are using. You might want to try fluororubber – it should work fine. By the way, how is the performance of the PPH pipes you are using?
