How to know the meaning of this phase?
Punch list: refers to a list that outlines the unfinished or non-compliant project elements (including those specified in the contract); it can be translated as “list of items to be checked upon completion””
Tail item list. A list of unfinished or non-compliant project items (those that are not critical and do not affect the project’s operation upon completion) is prepared; such a list is generated at each inspection and is included in the as-built documents. For tail items, the contractor must allocate resources to remove them, which affects the payment of the remaining balance and the possibility of obtaining new projects.
We call it: Defect Resolution Ticket, with the same meaning as the first two
