This post was last edited by jintchinssen on 2011-9-20 at 12:55. Dear friends: I am an undergraduate about to graduate from a chemical engineering program; I’m also from Sichuan. Is it possible for me to get a job at Chengda Design Institute? If undergraduates want to work in design firms, they certainly can’t get into large state-owned enterprises; so which design firms can they enter then? Please give me some advice, fellow sailors. Thank you! ! ! ! ! !
If you want to learn something, it’s better to join an ordinary design firm. Large design firms, although formal, have too many rules and regulations. If an ordinary design firm has a heavy workload, learning happens much more quickly there than in larger firms. However, much design knowledge still needs to be acquired on one’s own. Design firms offer a platform for continuous training from generation to generation, but what’s conventional isn’t necessarily correct, and what’s known isn’t necessarily standardized. Learn while working, and also work while learning.
Reply to 2# chenping83234 Thank you! It is necessary to study*, do you know any good small design firms in Sichuan?

Reply 3# sanjing05: Sichuan Chemical Engineering Design Institute, Sichuan Chenguang Engineering Design Institute, Sichuan Tianyi Technology Co., Ltd., Chengdu Saipuixing Technology Co., Ltd., Sichuan Yalian Technology Co., Ltd., China National Rubber Group Carbon Black Industry Research and Design Institute, Zigong Light Chemical Engineering Design Institute Co., Ltd., and others
I am an undergraduate student majoring in Chemical Engineering and Technology at China University of Petroleum (Huadong). My grades are quite good. I come from Sichuan, and I wonder which design institute in Sichuan do you think I could get into? I would also appreciate it if fellow sailors could help me analyze this. Thank you so much!
Relationships – it’s all about relationships. When you have time, learn more about the relevant information and then apply to design firms one by one.
