When unloading benzene from the tank truck, since the vehicle’s body is horizontal, the benzene sometimes cannot be unloaded completely. To ensure complete unloading, the company built two ramps; the rear wheels of the vehicle are placed on these ramps to tilt the vehicle. I wonder if metal ramps will work as well
Typical tank trucks are equipped with wedge-shaped wooden blocks, 15–20 cm in size, which are lightweight and easy to use. It is recommended to avoid using iron, to prevent sparks from being generated due to friction with the ground, which could lead to accidents.
Agree with the opinion above; wood is better.
We use wooden shims, which allow us to almost completely empty the contents of the tank truck; the driver brings these shims with him.
When loading or unloading, be sure to connect the anti-static wire.
Is a flexible hose needed for unloading? From what I’ve seen, it’s required when loading Class A liquids
