Regarding the issue where, after swapping out the 4.3-meter ramming coke ovens, the gas pressure drops below 500 Pa: it isn’t the case that the pressure is below 500 Pa every time a swap takes place; sometimes it is below 500 Pa and other times it isn’t. After dropping below 500 Pa, the pressure rises back to the normal heating level after some time. The instrument control system is working properly. Why is this happening?
Keep the main pipe pressure at no less than 3500; give it a try – it’s usually caused by too low a pressure in the main pipe.
