Apart from the reduced risk of rusting in the welds due to the addition of titanium, its other properties are similar to those of 304. 5) 304L stainless steel round bars: Properties: 304L stainless steel round bars are a variant of 304 stainless steel with a lower carbon content, and they are used in applications that require welding. The lower carbon content minimizes the precipitation of carbides in the heat-affected zone near the weld, and the precipitation of carbides can cause intergranular corrosion (weld erosion) in stainless steel under certain conditions. 6) 304 stainless steel round bar Characteristics: 304 stainless steel is the most widely used type of chromium-nickel stainless steel, offering excellent corrosion resistance, heat resistance, strength at low temperatures, and mechanical properties. It is resistant to corrosion in the atmosphere; however, in industrial atmospheres or areas with high pollution levels, it needs to be cleaned regularly to prevent corrosion.
