The make-up water for circulating water is mainly municipal tap water; a small portion comes from the liquid at the bottom of the distillation tower, which has been treated to meet the quality requirements for make-up water in circulating systems. I would like to ask what the COD level of the wastewater discharged through side filtration is approximately? Under normal circumstances, it is related to factors such as the side filtration process, the type and amount of chemicals added, and the quality of the raw water; here only a general range is considered.
The COD of the filtered effluent next to our factory is generally between 20 and 50.
This COD depends on the COD in your system; generally, it will be slightly higher than that in a circulating water system. Currently, COD analysis is also relatively simple; it would be best to conduct an analysis
The function of side filtration is merely to reduce turbidity; the COD basically remains unchanged.

The side filtration unit is used to remove impurities and large particles from the circulating water. A waste discharge line is installed in the return pipeline to control the conductivity of the circulating water. The control of COD levels in the circulating water is carried out through a dosing system, and it generally meets local emission requirements; our facility maintains a conductivity level of around 2500.

The COD of circulating water is generally less than 100 ppm.
