Is it not discharged directly into the atmosphere, but instead into a flare? Is such a situation possible?
I don’t think so. The gas released during deoxygenation contains carbon ammonia, which tends to crystallize and can cause blockages over time.
Can it be discharged to a flare with a large amount of water vapor? With increasing environmental regulations, this gas cannot be released directly into the atmosphere; it must be treated before being sent to the sulfur recovery unit.
Our factory doesn’t send it to the flare tower; instead, it is released directly into the atmosphere. I’ve checked several other factories, and I haven’t seen any that send it to the flare tower.
The exhaust from the deaerator cannot be sent directly to the flare – it will not ignite unless a water cooler is added first, after which it can be sent to the flare.
Yes, the wastewater from our company is discharged into the flare stack; of course, it is also released directly on-site, depending on the circumstances.
