The interlocks in our hydrogen production plant include: low water-to-carbon ratio interlock, blower interlock, exhaust fan interlock, boiler feedwater pressure interlock, pressure interlock for the gas produced in the PSA unit, and drum level interlock. For various reasons, the chain has not been put into operation yet.
We also have interlocks for the converter outlet temperature, the flue gas temperature at the inlet of the induced draft fan, the negative pressure in the furnace, the pressure of the desorbed gas (for large burners) and the pressure of the external fuel gas (for small burners), as well as interlocks for the temperature of the gas going to the PSA unit. There is also an interlock for the liquid level in the final water separator tank, along with interlocks related to the PSA unit (omitted; P). There is no interlock for boiler feedwater pressure, only one for the pressure of the gas going to the PSA unit. Not all are invested in; some are unable to invest, and some don’t want to (it’s too much trouble). A few investments are made just as a formality. . .
Reply to 1# Revolution: There should also be interlocks for hydrogen production compressors and heating furnaces. Whether to activate these interlocks depends on the advantages and disadvantages associated with their use, as well as the management’s decision, since activating such interlocks has an impact on production safety and the workshop’s operations.
Personally, I recommend that the drum level and press interlocks still be put into use
Converter blower interlock, exhaust fan interlock, converter fuel gas pressure interlock, purge gas interlock, temperature interlock for the PSA inlet.
They’re all put into use based on the actual circumstances, right?
For the conversion section of our hydrogen production plant, only the furnace outlet temperature interlock and the flue gas temperature interlock entering the convection chamber were installed. Everything else was removed
Generally, the interlocks built into individual units are activated. For device-level interlocks, aside from the emergency venting interlock, it seems that none of the others are in use
