GB18442 states that the pipelines in the interlayer must be connected using welded joints. Is there any reason? So there’s no need to require that in the inner container, right?
The pipes in the interlayer must be connected using welded joints, as welded joints are less prone to leakage. With other connections, once there is a leak, the vacuum in the interlayer is lost. Repairing it is inconvenient and costly. It is also preferable to weld the inner container; other methods are acceptable as well, as minor leaks have little impact on the storage tank.
