In the various tables of Aspen Dynamic, the numerical values come in three different font colors: blue, black, and bold black. What do they mean respectively? Is blue the user-input value and black the calculated value? Then what does bold black mean?
I was aware of this phenomenon, but I hadn’t thought about it in the way the original poster did; I’m ashamed… However, I personally believe that for those variables in the tables, what’s more important to focus on is their Spec.
I checked the manual thoroughly but couldn’t find any explanation. I asked this question because when I was doing the manipulation, I thought that all blue values could be changed, but I found that some couldn’t be altered – only those in bold black could be changed.
What the original poster is referring to is actually the spec of that variable, which falls into three categories: fixed, free, and initial. Among them, fixed can be changed, and the calculation is based on your input value. \"free\" cannot be changed; it is a result of calculation. The value of initial can be changed, but the calculation process will be overridden by the calculated value……
