With the liquid nitrogen washing process, what is a reasonable level to control for the CO content at the outlet of the coal gasification process? I would like to know
The transformed exit CO level designed by Tianchen Institute is kept below 1.5%, while that designed by Wuhuan Technology is generally kept below 1.0%. The CO control is too low, which reduces the load on liquid nitrogen washing, but the shift load remains relatively high.
Is a low CO level affecting the balance of cooling capacity provided by liquid nitrogen? I’ve heard that fuel gas containing CO provides more cooling capacity to the system after being depressurized; if the amount of fuel gas decreases, will this reduce the amount of cooling that can be recovered by the system, forcing it to rely on external cooling sources? This in turn would increase the amount of nitrogen that needs to be added to the fuel gas
