I noticed a problem: for vertical tanks, the pressure and temperature gauges are installed on the inlet and outlet pipelines, while for horizontal tanks, they are placed directly on the tank itself. I would like to ask, what is the reason for this? Thank you.
Under normal circumstances, pressure gauges and thermometers are installed at the top, and the height of the top of vertical containers is usually quite high, making it impossible for people to see them directly. Therefore, if the pressure gauges and thermometers of vertical containers are also placed at the top, how can they be viewed?

Reply 1# hangzhuozyh: The story is not fictional! But it was purely a coincidence! I haven’t seen any regulations regarding this; it’s simply based on convenience in construction or operation. The reason you see this situation is probably purely by chance. It’s good to be good at drawing conclusions, but it seems that in this case…~~~~~~
Not necessarily; here we also have vertical containers with pressure gauges placed on the top of the container, probably to make it easier to monitor the pressure
