What is the typical carbon residue level in beeswax oil, and what is the mixing ratio between the solid residues and beeswax oil?

The last edit to this post was made by jbcyf on 2011-9-23 at 14:50. Our wax oil has a residual carbon level of around 0.5, while the residual carbon in the crude residue is about 7%. What ratio should we use so that we can keep the residual carbon level in the mixed residue between 4% and 5%?
The residue index can be considered as a linear sum based on quality; therefore, a ratio of wax oil to normal residue of 35:65 should suffice to meet the requirements for residue carbon content in the mixture. 0.35*0.5+0.65*7=4.725
Kang’s residual carbon % (w) is generally controlled at <0.3.
