The small chemical plant does not have a distillation water system, but the laboratory needs distilled water. I was wondering whether steam condensate can be used as distilled water.
No, there are impurities in the pipes, and chemicals are also added to the boiler water used for steam; I’m afraid these will end up in the steam as well!
The condensed water in the apparatus differs from distilled water in the laboratory; it contains rust, oil, and other impurities. If the requirements for such impurities are not strict, it can be used as a substitute.
You can buy some distillation tubes to make it by yourself; distilling it several times might work better

They cannot be used together. Steam condensate is no longer “pure” water; it contains impurities and even has a high pH value. For the laboratory, we disagree with using condensed water as a substitute for distilled water; there is no such thing as \"making do\" with it.
