Currently, most fireproof coatings used in factories are thin or ultra-thin types. They are similar to paint, but the required thickness is several millimeters; to achieve such a thickness, it may be necessary to apply the coating dozens or even a hundred times. Is there any good solution? Applying it a hundred or dozens of times is indeed a considerable number of applications
Our factory uses the spraying method, which is very efficient.
Actually, it’s not necessary to apply it that many times; for products with a fire resistance of 1.5 hours, we usually apply a coating thickness of 2.0 mm or less, and 10 applications should be sufficient. What was mentioned above regarding spraying likely refers to a thicker coating.
