Do glass-lined pipes require copper wire bridging?

If glass-lined pipes are used to transport flammable and explosive media, is it useful to use copper wires for bonding between the pipe flanges? Can it prevent static electricity? Personally, I think it’s useless, because the static electricity generated can’t be transmitted through the glass-lined material to the connected copper wires, right? Seeking advice! Thank you!

For those with such requirements, items that are flammable and explosive and require static grounding are designed primarily to prevent the existence of resistance, which could lead to a voltage difference and thus the generation of current.
