In terms of scale, 100,000 tons represents a small plant. To reduce energy consumption and waste in ammonia synthesis, the most practical approach is to increase the size of the plants and achieve longer operation cycles. In addition, meticulous management and the skill level of the operators are also very important. Is natural gas better or coal? Looking to the future, coal has more potential; China is rich in coal. On the other hand, natural gas is easier to transport and is more suitable for domestic use. Regarding production costs, the main factors to consider are the prices of natural gas or coal; for investments, the cost of the equipment, as well as production and management costs, need to be taken into account. In short, the ammonia synthesis industry is already suffering from overcapacity; many plants are not operating at full capacity due to insufficient raw materials, so it is unfeasible to launch new projects recklessly
