It is a glass-lined tower that uses ceramic packing; what is the method of supporting this packing?
Judging from the materials of the casing and internal components, the medium is likely to be quite corrosive; it might be something related to acetic acid. You can take a look at using fiberglass. If the temperature is not high, stainless steel or carbon steel lined with PP can also be used. If money is no object, duplex steel or Hastelloy can be used.
Reply 1# abcdef246: Under normal circumstances, use an F4 sieve plate with holes drilled in the middle; the size of these holes should be determined based on the diameter of your tower section. Secure it in place using clamps! But this makes it very difficult to meet the requirements for high vacuum levels! And then there are custom tower sections! It’s very difficult to achieve a high vacuum level in glass-lined tower sections! It would be better if it were a reaction at atmospheric pressure! Hope this helps!
