:) Everyone, does anyone know the explosive limit of terephthalic acid powder in air?
Pure terephthalic acid is a white needle-shaped crystal or powder that sublimes at around 300°C, with a self-ignition point of 680°C. Soluble in alkaline solutions, slightly soluble in hot ethanol, insoluble in water, ether, glacial acetic acid, and chloroform. Low toxicity, flammable. The maximum allowable concentration in the air is 0.1 mg/m3. Its dust forms an explosive mixture with air, with an explosion limit of 0.05 g/L to 12.5 g/L.
