Leak in the acid cooling unit for low-temperature waste heat recovery

Recently, I learned about some users of low-temperature waste heat recovery systems; acid coolers (i.e., waste heat recoverers for evaporators) are more prone to leakage than evaporators themselves. I’m not sure of the exact reasons for this. Could anyone provide some theoretical explanations?
Acid temperature. The chloride content in water. There’s also the vibration factor. {:1_90:}
