How can I view the tube sheet thickness automatically calculated by HTRI? Can the tube sheet thickness be entered manually?
The tube sheet thickness values provided by HTRI aren’t very meaningful, especially for high-pressure equipment. I recommend not using HTRI as a basis for strength calculations, as the discrepancies with the results obtained using SW6 are quite large
In HTRI’s automatic calculations, it is possible to enter the tube sheet thickness manually – enter the value in the \"input---optional total tubersheet thicknesses\" field. This value is only useful when the program calculates the heat transfer area; the actual thickness still needs to be determined in accordance with standards such as ASME or SW6

I forgot to mention earlier: after entering the thickness in input---optional totel tubersheet thicknees, the value you entered will appear in Rpots---Final Results---tub information---total tubesheet.
