As the title suggests: What are the differences between the internal linings of cold, hot, and spent catalyst tanks? Is the cold catalyst tank lined?
Our device has only two components, alas: one is a freshening agent, and the other is a balancing agent. The balancing agent can be considered the so-called waste catalyst; there’s no distinction between hot and cold substances – everything that is removed ends up in the balancing tank
Reply to 1# 328104062: Generally, the catalyst tank (balance tank) is a vertical storage tank with a lining-free structure; the hot catalyst tank is also a vertical storage tank but with a heat-resistant lining; the waste catalyst tank is a vertical storage tank with a lining (this tank is mainly used to store the waste catalyst selected by the four-spinning process)
We have three: one hot and two cold. If there’s too much in the cold ones, it will be pulled away. The inside of the hot one is lined

The cold catalyst is a new catalyst; its designed operating temperature is room temperature, the designed pressure is 0.78/1.0 MPa (abs), and the material used is ordinary carbon steel. The hot catalyst tank operates at temperatures of 450–600 degrees; it is made of 16 manganese alloy. It is used for collecting catalyst from the regenerator (a collection tank during shutdowns). The designed temperature for this tank is 220/450°C, while the designed pressure is 0.78/1.0 MPa (abs); however, some of the catalyst in this tank comes from the hot catalyst tank. unlined

The cold and hot catalyst tanks do not require linings; both are made of 16MnR material, with the only difference being their thickness
There are three catalyst tanks. One is for cold catalysts – it contains fresh catalysts and sometimes balancing agents as well. Another type is for used catalysts; it holds the catalysts that are pushed in from the waste catalyst tank, as well as those with low activity that have been removed from the regenerator. There’s also a balancing agent tank, which is also a heat-resistant tank used to store regular balancing agents, as well as the catalysts taken out of the regenerator after shutdown
There is no difference between the hot and cold catalyst tanks; they are made of the same material and neither of them has a lining. It’s just been fitted with different catalysts.
