Recently, our company is planning to build a low-temperature methanol washing project, and we are seeking a startup purging plan for this system.
Are you that company? Have you chosen a patent holder for low-temperature methanol washing?
Different purge plan procedures result in different purge methods. However, the purging methods are more or less similar, and it should be determined according to one’s own process. During purging, pay attention to purging the coil-type heat exchanger to prevent it from getting clogged.
We chose the LMMO patent holder to be Dalian University of Technology
First, the process needs to be finalized before a purging plan can be established. Basically, purging is considered only once the project is almost complete; there’s no point in doing it so early
First, the nitrogen pipeline must be purged thoroughly, and then other pipelines and equipment should be purged using the nitrogen pipeline as a basis. The key is to protect the coiled tube heat exchanger; furthermore, it is necessary to inspect all the pipes, and it is essential to ensure that these pipelines have been purged before the equipment is introduced.
If you are from Dalian University of Technology, please provide me with the PID diagram, and I will prepare a plan for purging, airtightness testing, hydraulic testing, and replacement/drying. If needed, I can provide you with detailed plans for dealing with various abnormal situations during driving. It has over 500 pages
During purging, it is essential to avoid the heat exchangers, especially coil-type heat exchangers. Heat exchangers are already relatively clean, so it is necessary to prevent the purging gas from entering them; the purging outlet should be located before the heat exchangers. Pressure can be built up using towers and tanks to purge each pipeline one by one. If the pipelines were not too dirty during installation, purging each pipeline four or five times should be sufficient
Due to the relatively thin nitrogen pipelines in the low-temperature methanol washing system, blast purging is recommended! Install a blasting plate on the pipeline, and then blast the system by impact. The purging principle is: to purge from near to far, section by section. Purging gas must not be introduced into the equipment, especially coil-type heat exchangers! The flange should be removed in front of the heat exchanger for explosive purging. Blow it clean before feeding it into the equipment.
Could you please contact the 7th floor? Our company’s low-temperature methanol washing technology is a patent owned by Dalian University of Technology. Could you provide me with a plan for dealing with abnormal situations? First, I would like to express my gratitude! My email address is: mingjun123120@sina.com
Hello, everyone! Our low-temperature methanol washing unit is also from Dali University of Technology (the contract has just been signed)! Could Brother Wolf on the 7th floor please provide me with a plan for dealing with your abnormal situations? Thank you! kschengm@sina.com
