The temperature required in our oven now is 200 degrees. The superheated steam coming from the thermal power plant has a pressure of 25 kilograms and a temperature of 255 degrees. After passing through the pressure and temperature control valve, the gauge on that valve indicated 230 degrees and 15 kilograms of pressure. But once we reached the oven section, the temperature in the oven never reached 200 degrees. What could be the reason? My idea is that after pressure and temperature adjustment, the superheated steam at 230 degrees and 15 kilograms reaches the working section of the oven; due to the energy consumption in that section, the temperature of the steam gradually drops, and it turns into saturated steam. The temperature of saturated steam at 15 kilograms is 200 degrees, which is why the desired oven temperature of 200 degrees cannot be achieved. Do any experts have any solutions?

Increase the temperature of your control valve; it’s also possible that the diameter of your pipes is too small, failing to meet the requirements for heat loss.

Check the technical parameters of your temperature and pressure reducers. For our superheated steam at 1.0 MPa, the temperature is required to be above 260 degrees. 2. The saturation temperature of steam at 1.5 MPa is 198.289 degrees; if the temperature in the oven reaches 200 degrees, the steam is likely to contain water. 3. Check the insulation on your system; it seems that the insulation around the pipes needs to be replaced.
