It is reported that the Jiangsu Dongfang Heavy Industry (Rizhao) Offshore Engineering Equipment Base project, with a total planned investment of over 10 billion yuan, has already seen 500 mu of land created through reclamation; 1 billion yuan has been invested so far, and it is expected that the annual main business revenue after completion will be between 60 and 10 billion yuan. It is understood that Dongfang Heavy Industry has started construction on the Ruisheng Marine Engineering project in Rizhao City, Shandong Province, and in three years this project will develop into the largest modern marine equipment manufacturing base in China.
