In coal chemical industry, methanol is produced through gasification of coal, which is then converted into olefins; the resulting ethylene is used as a raw material to manufacture butadiene. What is the process flow? Could someone with expertise give me some advice?
This approach is not good: methanol is used to produce ethylene, which is then used to produce butadiene. Although it seems that there are profits in the market at present, this is similar to the process of producing butadiene through the dehydrogenation of tetrahydrocarbons.
