I don’t think so; I’ve never seen any air defense systems.
Generally, the middle chamber is not vented; a hard-sealed ball valve has an opening in the middle chamber to allow the removal of impurities from it
The floating ball valve provides one-way sealing; it seals at the downstream side, while the upstream side is connected to the middle chamber. Therefore, it is generally not necessary to relieve pressure in the middle chamber. However, in some high-quality ball valves, if you look closely at the valve seat, you will find a ring of grooves running through it from the upstream to the downstream side; this structure is designed to facilitate communication between the middle chamber and the upstream area.
My view is the same as that on the fourth floor: the interior chamber of the floating ball valve is connected to both ends of the upstream valve seat, so there’s no need to create an additional opening
