An external mechanical seal can be used; try Mo’s ring for the neck portion. The moving ring is made of PTFE.
Use a good packing, such as AIG’s specialized packing, or replace it with a double-end mechanical seal.
It is recommended to use a mechanical seal along with Plan32 flushing to prevent crystallization on the sealing surface
Filler seals are designed to allow some leakage; if there are particles present, even a WB2 mechanical seal will not work. Our company has specialized C3 seals capable of handling particles, and they can operate for less than 20 minutes without any issues
