During the processing of the tube sheet and tubes in a converter, should welding be done first followed by expansion, or should expansion be done first followed by welding? Please help, thank you!
Personally, I think it’s better to expand first and then weld. If welding is done first and expansion follows, the stress resulting from expansion on the welded area will definitely affect the quality of the weld. Thank you

There have already been many discussions on the forum regarding whether to expand first and then weld, or to weld first and then expand. I won’t go into details here
