Does anyone have lists of the sulfur production capacities of these companies? I’m working on a research project and would like to conduct some investigations, but I’m not very familiar with the sulfur production capacities of various companies. Those who have such information, please share it with me. Thank you.
The large-scale one is natural gas purification; the largest project of this kind is probably the purification project at the Puguang gas field
The friend upstairs is right; indeed, the largest facility at present is that of Sinopec’s Puguang gas field, with each unit having a capacity of 200,000 tons per year, for a total of 12 such units. In addition, the sulfur recovery units at Sinopec Zhenhai Petrochemical, Maoming Petrochemical, Fujian Petrochemical, Qilu Petrochemical, Qingdao Refining & Chemical, CNPC Dalian Petrochemical, Dalian Xitai, and Sinochem Quanzhou are all of relatively large scale.
The Sinopec Jieyang refinery to be built in the future is likely to have a very large scale for sulfur recovery, as the sulfur content in Venezuelan crude oil averages over 3%. With a processing capacity of 24 million tons per year (for phases one and two), sulfur recovery would need to reach around 700,000 tons per year, requiring at least two recovery units.
Reply to 4# qugd: I’m right here. Haha, it’s 4 sets of equipment, designed for a capacity of 600,000 tons per year
You guys are amazing, haha. In the future, everyone will come to you for knowledge; please don’t hold back.
Reply to 6# dhlwzhou: CNPC is quite particular, especially me, haha. Come without worry.
You can also come to Puguang, the largest in the country.
