Port issues for butt welding and socket welding of valves?

Are the port sizes for butt welding and socket welding of valves the same as those of the butt-welded flanges and socket-welded integral flanges specified in HG20592? If it’s different, which standards should be checked?
Personally, I think it’s the same, because some distributors weld flanges onto buttweld valves before selling them.

For socket-welded and threaded valves, their sockets and threads are generally designed for connecting British-style pipes. You can take a look at the valve manual. Therefore, when designing, it must be specified in the remarks column of the material sheet for valves. For example, in socket weld connections, it is required that the valve socket be able to connect with pipes having a metric outer diameter. In the case of butt welding, it is required that the outer diameter and wall thickness of the valve’s welded end match those of the metric pipeline being connected.
It can be the same, or it can be different! It depends on the standard you choose. If the standards for the flanges are the same and the dimensions of the connectors are identical, then they are the same! For butt-welded flanges or butt-welded valves, the dimensions of the butt-welded end are consistent with those of the pipe
