1. If the terminal connection of the pressure transmitter is 1/2-14 NPT, what size opening should be made in the equipment (and how should it be made)? ? ? 2. If it is changed to a flange connection, what should be the flange size?
What the original poster mentioned is 1/2 inch, right? That should correspond to a nominal diameter of 4 mm DN15; in that case, it’s sufficient to use the outer diameter as the reference. Use flanges with a nominal diameter of DN20; the pressure should be determined based on the equipment, and DN15 is also acceptable
We usually create a flange opening of 1\" or 3/4\" on the equipment, and then use a blind flange with a 1/2\" NPT opening, so that it can be connected
1: Use an orifice of the same size as your pipe; 14 or 14.7 is quite common. 2: What size flange do you have? Just choose what size.
