After research, it has now been changed to ceramic plate filtration, with significant results. Almost no backflow occurs, so a sedimentation tank is not required. There is no need to discharge waste liquid, nor is it necessary to return the liquid to the system after cooling, which could affect the system. Doing the math, our 200,000-ton synthetic ammonia system can save around 800,000 per year.
Has it been changed back to a continuous sulfur melting furnace now?
