It’s used for process operation simulation in educational settings for practical purposes. As far as I know, Dongfang Simulation and Zhejiang University’s Industrial Control department offer such services – are there any other well-known companies that do this? What do you have from abroad?
International developments in Aspen: Honeywell – HYSYS (Shaow Plant); Invensys – DynSIM. Yokogawa: (name unknown). In China, there is also Huakangda. It seems that Kangjisen is still working on this area. The key factors are 1) how much budget you have (the constraints), and 2) your specific technical requirements for the model (the main objectives you want to achieve).
